Adaptix Joins OBSAI - Unstrung

DALLAS -- ADAPTIX, a pioneering developer of orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) technology, has joined the Open Base Station Architecture Initiative (OBSAI), an organization formed to create open specifications for base station architectures. ADAPTIX is a premier supplier of OFDMA-based micro-cell base stations that deliver 802.16e-compliant Mobile WiMAX services.

"OBSAI welcomes the addition of ADAPTIX to its growing membership," said Tero Mustala, Chairman of OBSAI. "As OBSAI continues to gain popularity as a key base station architecture of the future, having members like ADAPTIX, who bring leading edge expertise in the areas of OFDMA and Mobile WiMAX, is beneficial to our common efforts."
